Electronic Discovery
Infocache has the expertise to select the right partner for Electronic Document Discovery (EDD) based upon the size of the project, needs of the case and client specifications. We try to find the service that provides the best value to the client without unnecessary cost and data processing. Typically, EDD provides conversion of a diverse collection of electronic document files (over 500 file types) – emails, Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, email attachments, etc. into uniform image and data files that can be loaded directly into your litigation support application or your web repository.
The converted/processed data files are then indexed and organized into a database system linked to images, with metadata captured. Our tool provides a fully searchable database created from the original documents in different formats into a standardized format.
EDD services include:
- File to TIFF image or PDF conversion
- Native file option
- Email and attachments linked
- Excel and PowerPoint formatting
- Full-text extraction
- Metadata capture
- Keywords and concept search
- De-duping and filtering across multiple EDD databases
- Virus detection and flagging
- Over 350 commonly used file formats
- Foreign language characters
- Attorney review and tagging

Electronic Document Discovery & Forensics
A large New York law firm approached Infocache for electronic data forensics. Infocache partnered with an EDD specialist to successfully complete the 50GB project involving multiple PST and NSF mailboxes. Our experts performed full data and text extraction, by using non-invasive technology that maintains the integrity of the original data files and were able to retrieve hidden, deleted, or damaged electronic evidence that was critical to the case. Cross-mailbox de-duplication facilitated the creation of a highly efficient and useful database.
With efficient keyword and concept searches we were able to save the client money and deliver a manageable database within days.
